Mitten Tree at Woodstock Elementary

The WES Student Council is helping those in need in our community by collecting new or clean, gently used hats and mittens, gloves, scarves, and boots to be donated to the Upper Valley Haven and the LISTEN Center. Donations are being collected until Friday, December 21st. The mitten tree is located in the lobby ready to accept your donations.

Thank you!

WES NURSE NEWS

The WES Nurse's Office is in need of donations of pants. Several times a week, there are students in need of a clean change of pants, and our supplies have dwindled significantly, particularly for the younger grades. We welcome new or gently used, clean pants with elastic or drawstring waistbands. If your child comes home with borrowed pants, we hope you will wash them and return them to school for future use.

SNOW DAY OR DELAYED OPENING NOTIFICATIONS

The supervisory union sends out an automated call and text if there is a snow day or delay opening. Please let David Miles know in the WES office if you did not get the November calls. The information can also be found on WCAX and VPR. Look for "Windsor Central Schools." Individual schools/towns in our district are not typically listed separately.

CELEBRATING OUR PAW PRINTS

Students in grades 3-6 enjoyed hearing from Dartmouth student athletes and attending a Dartmouth Women's Basketball game in celebration of 25,000 paw prints for meeting school-wide expectations.

Students in Grades K-2 enjoyed a visit with local author Loni Burchett who has recently written a book titled Christmas in Woodstock
