State Police Canine Demonstration

State Trooper Alex Comtois and K9 Phoenix came to WES for a demonstration for 5th and 6th graders last Friday. Students were able to ask the trooper questions, see some obedience demonstrations, and watch Phoenix find a couple things hidden in the room.   At the end, everyone was able to pet her and meet her up close if they wanted to. This demonstration was brought to us by Annie Luke, the school district's Student Assistance Professional-Community Liaison.
